Successful story

Roy is running an English training school which aims at help students to pass Toefl and IELTS in order to study abroad.

But he found that some clients are not very satisfied with the learning experience.

After instructional designers work with teacher, they found the complaints are from two reasons. The first one is the speaking class is too instructor-centered and students just have very limited time to speak.

And another problems is that parents cannot track their children’s learning progress.

The first problem is learning-related. Using instructional design, we arranged the class settings and put white board around the wall. And based on constructivism, we revised the class in that students will describe 2-3 scenes every class. They can bring their own drawing of the same scene, stick it to the whiteboard and give a presentation to the rest of class. And classmates and teachers can comment on it.

The second problem is related to human performance improvement. We design a chart in google sheet and teachers can write their observation and comments according to the questions on the sheet. And parents can take a look at it when they are convenient.
